The Senior Talent Acquisition Consultant is responsible for full-cycle recruitment efforts including attracting, assessing, and hiring candidates to fill open requisitions and plays a key role in meeting organizational goals and delivering an exceptional candidate experience as well as coaching leaders on recruitment best practices and procedures.

Under the general direction of the Chief Medical Officer and Business & Finance Lead, responsibilities include managing administrative staff, managing/monitoring human Resources and administrative functions, overseeing Emergency Room physician compensation, ensuring adherence to Doctors Manitoba collective agreement on all matters, onboarding of new ER physicians as well as recruitment and contracting support for various programs under the WRHA CMO. This role involves a range of human resource, finance, payroll, and project management functions supporting WRHA medical staff.

Full cycle recruitment for home care staff including screening applicants, interviewing candidates and making final hiring decisions independently as well as new hire onboarding and delivery of HR presentations at employee orientations.

General Human Resources support including grievance and respectful workplace investigation tracking, preparation of correspondence on behalf of consultants and directors, providing general information to staff regarding Human Resources policies and processes, recruitment support, conducting reference checks and assisting with annual professional licensing for nursing and allied health staff.

General reception for the Human Resources department, recruitment support for a range of health care positions, administration of pre-employment testing, management of employee filing system.
