I am currently a Senior Consultant I within Protiviti’s Internal Audit & Financial Advisory practice. With a tenure of over two years, I have developed extensive expertise in various compliance and advisory roles. My work primarily revolves around assisting clients with the intricacies of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance, including both the initial setup of SOX frameworks (often referred to as "SOX builds") and the recurring testing tasks to ensure ongoing compliance (commonly known as "SOX annuity testing"). These activities involve thorough examinations of financial reporting controls to safeguard against misstatements and ensure the integrity of financial disclosures.Beyond my focus on SOX-related services, I have also been instrumental in conducting business control process audits. In this capacity, I meticulously evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of my clients' internal controls and operating procedures. This involves identifying potential risks in their processes and recommending enhancements to strengthen their overall control environment.
