About Catherine Mullins
I am a team member in the Comprehensive Laboratory for Untargeted Exposome Science (CLUES), which is led by Dr. Douglas Walker at Emory University. Our lab specializes in high-throughput untargeted mass spectrometry, which we use to identify and measure exposures in biological samples. I contribute to many aspects of the lab, but my particular specialty is working in liquid chromatography mass spectrometry (LCMS). I currently manage two sets of Thermo Exploris 120 Orbitraps coupled to Vanquish Duo LC systems. I am involved in every aspect of the workflow, from sample preparation to instrument maintenance and operation to data extraction! I am excited to be a part of the new and rapidly growing field of exposomics--there is a lot of work to be done, a lot to learn, and many ways to contribute.
