Placement within a High Intensity IAPT service, provision of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy to people with Anxiety and Depression.

Management of service provision at Anxiety UK including a national therapeutic service (including CBT therapists, counsellors and clinical hypnotherapists), national user led helpline and e-therapy/ support. Representation of the organisation at a range of strategic fora, including the NICE guidance for anxiety, North West Mental Health Improvement Partnership steering board and the National Audit of Psychological Therapies steering board. Oversight of project work, including multi-site training program on Cbt for young people, development of strategic reports and service development initiatives.

Provision of brief, solution focused Cognitive Behavioural Strategies to individuals experiencing difficulties with their mental health, including depression, anxiety, self esteem, anger and a range of other disorders. Development of a multi-site cCBT service in the community (which won a £10,000 award) and the development of the 'moving on' young men's mental health group, in partnership with Signpost.

Project and keyworker activities in 113 bed men's direct access hostel. Set up service user forum. Provided support to service users with a range of difficulties including drug and alcohol issues, mental health and social exclusion.
