As part of my job, I helped teachers develop research based , instructional practices that supported the development of children's language, early literacy, literacy knowledge, concept development, as well as Reading and Writing. I helped teachers to collect and utilize data to plan for whole and small group instruction within the RTI model. In addition, I analyzed school based data to determine the effectiveness of core instruction/intervention in the areas of academics. As a result, teachers were able to develop and implement classroom based, developmentally appropriate interventions and groups for children to help them progress in academic skills based on data. As a common planning time leader, I maintained appropriate records to document progress on children.
