I led the design of 17 blended learning customer service topics. This included managing client relationships, producing high level design documents, briefing third party suppliers and learning designers. It was my responsibility to manage the quality of all output and present it to the client SME group.

I led the learning strategy for the Global Sales Operations team, working with SMEs, managers and learning designers to develop globally harmonised training programmes. I shifted the focus of learning in the GSO department from the traditional trainer focus (classroom and teaching) to learner focused practice-based learning (from ‘telling’ to ‘doing’). I mentored two learning designers with their instructional design skills, and developed 10 team SMEs, across the world, into skilled training representatives, to deliver technical content, face-to-face and virtually. Achievements:• Led a Global team of SMEs to design and develop several Global onboarding programmes:o Proposal Developer, which has reduced the time to competency by 50%o Contract Analyst, which has reduced the time to competency by 50%o Global Manager programme to support global harmonisation of processes• Designed, developed and delivered a blended learning Global Soft Skills programme that included project management, accountability, effective communications, reading others for better communication, influencing others without authority and cultural and geographical awareness.• Led the design and development of a blended learning Global Lunch & Learn programme to improve Employee Engagement, comprising a combination of virtual presentations, online training and face-to-face workshops. Employee engagement within GSO improved by 2% in 2013.

Working with colleagues from my team and other teams to create and deliver technology enabled learning interventions. Responsible for quality control in the elearning team; developing the competence and confidence of junior designers; improving the use of Virgin Tone of Voice. Worked with courseware build tools, and social learning tools and used them to improve and enhance my design ideas.
