At Mile 91 we do storytelling for people who do good things. We capture spine-tingling stories that inspire and inform. With words, pictures and film we help you show the world the impact your work has on individuals, communities and the environments they live in. We also help organisation develop their own storytelling skills through training and storytelling strategy development.

I support charities and changemakers to tell and manage their stories. Clients include CLIC Sargent, Hope and Homes for Children, Impetus Trust, International Commitee on Seafarers' Welfare, Malaria Consortium, Merlin, Media Legal Defense Initiative, Oxfam, Royal Hospital for Neuro-disability, Scope and VSO.

Mencap is the UK's leading voice on learning disability. During this interim contract I will be managing the day to day media operation, recruiting a new Senior PR Manager and reviewing the team's priorities and workloads following a restructure.

AVP is a charity which runs workshops in prisons and communities, helping individuals to deal with anger and lead a non violent life. I lead the committee that is driving an ambitious marketing and partnership development plan and advise trustees on measuring and communicating impact.

VSO is the world’s leading international development charity that works through professional volunteers, with offices in over 50 countries around the world. Reported into the UK management team and lead the development and delivery of VSO UK’s media strategy. Global responsibility for media relations in crisis management. Managed a team of four staff, two agencies and major budget.

Established a new team to lead on sourcing human interest and impact stories for use in VSO’s communication, fundraising and advocacy campaigns. Devised and implemented a new set of processes and standards to ensure VSO consistently uses high quality and inspiring stories across all its campaigns. Worked in a challenging international environments to powerful stories brought to life VSO’s work tackling poverty.

Led on VSO’s national and trade media activity in support of volunteer recruitment and acted as spokesperson for the regional and trade media. Provided a responsive service to journalists, wrote features and editorials for a range of media and briefed senior managers for media interviews.
