Set up a small business in Colombia - JETLAG - to export and sale Colombian and Equadorial art craft (e.g. jewellery, ceramics, materials) on the basis of fair trade relationships with the craft people. I met the handicraft people in their remote villages to see what they made and how they lived. I organised private sales at my house, or at other people's houses. The next step to boost sales consisted in participating to international exhibitions (Foire de Paris in France, Europacado in Beligium, Top Drawer in London, ...) to present the women's work AND at the same time describe their lives.20% of the profit was donated to a house where Indian patients who were coming to Bogota to treat serious cancer illnesses could live. We managed to buy a fridge, cooker, sew machine….for them.

Co-lead the family business "SARL Moulin Maugain" from the age of 17, right after my A-level, following my father's sudden death. Our business was specialised in transport of people. We owned buses, taxis, ambulances, and 2 BP retail stations.
