Conducting fauna spotter catcher services for a number of Clients across the APLNG Gas Gathering Project and small projects in SE QLD.

• Responsible for the preparation of the corporate environmental management plan and subsidiary plans/procedures to meet legislative and Client requirements, capable of modification to specific project scope of works• Preparation of environmental tender documents for projects in Australia and Papua New Guinea • Preparation of environmental plans and procedures for projects involving ecologically significant species management, spill response management, waste management, flora management and fauna management• Review of health and safety, and environmental documentation before submitting to Client for approval and issued for use• Ensured all documentation complied with State and Commonwealth environmental legislation and Client requirements applicable to project location and scope of works

• Responsible for ensuring contractor adherence to EIS commitments and EA conditions in the field during geotechnical investigations• Provided advice and support to contractors during site works in relation to environmental and safety obligations • Co-ordinated, developed and implemented environmental plans and procedures to the field• On site presence with machinery during clear and grade activities (fauna + flora management)• Utilised Toughbooks for viewing existing and marking new ecological features during site surveys ahead of disturbance activities• Ensured environmental compliance ahead of Client audits• Interpreted GIS mapping of existing environmental aspects of the site (e.g. environmentally sensitive areas, EVNT species) for appropriate facility placement and offsets management• Weed hygiene management of vehicles, machinery and other construction materials across the project site• Ensured site rehabilitation was achieved in accordance with EA conditions• Co-ordinated land access through the Client community liaison team • Provided support to environmental compliance team in the delivery of construction project plans and procedures with the incorporation of State and Commonwealth environmental approvals

• Supported corporate HSE Management in the delivery of HSE documents including procedures and toolbox talk templates which may be utilised on future Projects.• Assisted from a corporate level by preparing environmental procedures and forms to be utilised for a pipelines Project in a remote region of PNG.

Responsibilities include:• Applying environmental plans and procedures to the field• Provide advice and support to the pipelines construction Supervisors and crews in relation to environmental requirements• Conduct environmental field inspections to assess compliance• Preparation of environmental inspection reports (i.e. post rainfall, Erosion and Sediment Control (ESC), non-conformance and incident reports • Environmental incident investigation • Monitoring of ESC plan compliance in the field• Environmental management documentation reviews • Assisting the fauna team with fauna documentation, fauna call outs and handling, trench inspections and habitat inspections • Subcontractor liaison • Attend contractor / client weekly meetings• Ensuring environmental compliance of major watercourse crossings including Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) of waterways • Management and reconciliation of Type A plants from the Brachychiton, Platycerium and Xanthorrhoea genus across the site• Weed hygiene management of Project vehicles, machinery and other construction materials across the Project site • Conduct environmental / fauna toolbox and prestart talks to the construction crews• Ensuring environmental compliance ahead of Department of Environment and Heritage Protection (DEHP) audits • Site reinstatement and rehabilitation works • Ensuring dewatering requirements are met post rainfall events• Quarry site management • Hydrostatic testing assistance through water sampling

Responsibilities:• Identification, capture, handling and relocation of all fauna species across the site (Under the conditions of the government permit) including venomous snakes, other reptiles, mammals and birds• On site fauna rehabilitation • Fauna euthanasia using the most up to date technique on injured native species and pest species • On call 24/7 for fauna rescue or relocation • Habitat inspections of RoWs proposed to be cleared assessing the flora communities, habitat types and associated fauna, scats, tracks, hollows, burrows, and other environmental features of interest that are marked prior to clear and grade activities• On site presence with machinery during clear and grade activities • Trench / bellhole inspections• Report sightings of significant species across the project to the Client and complying to all government requirements that ensures minimal impact to Endangered, Vulnerable and Near Threatened (EVNT) fauna species • Comply with the requirements of any relevant state management plans (e.g. Nature Conservation (Koala) Conservation Plan 2006 – 2016)• Fauna monitoring within a major watercourse crossing including nocturnal surveys, trapping, static motion camera installation, and noting the presence of scats, tracks and other fauna traces• Conduct environmental / fauna toolbox and prestart talks to the construction crews

Responsibilities:• Supports the HSE Manager in the delivery of HSE documents including project management plans.• HSE data entry and collation of monthly statistics.• Assists with development and coordination of pre-qualification and tender packages.• Monitors conformance with HSE processes and procedures.

Responsibilities:• Estimated Effective Population Size (Ne) of the Giant Freshwater Prawn using a hatchery population in Fiji as a model• Extracted DNA from the offspring and further analysed through the Polymerase Chain Reaction• Assessed sequenced data through a gene mapping program • Utilised and compared a number of genetic software packages for parental assignment and estimation of Ne to determine the most effective estimator for future aquatic species assessments
