Gathering, organizing, cleaning, manipulating, analyzing, and using data to improve the lives of others is what gets her excited each and every day. Having completed her Master of Information at the University of Toronto's iSchool in Library and Information Science with a collaboration in Knowledge Media Design, Catherine is now working full-time and pursuing her passion. Starting her career at Sinai Health Foundation as the first point of contact with the organization, moving to the in-depth research of their donors, continuing on to being involved in the implementation of fundraising strategies, and ending up in the data world has taught Catherine more than she could have ever hoped to have learned in a classroom. Seeing the entire donor/client life-cycle as well as the inner workings of four separate departments, Catherine brings an incredibly unique value to not only fundraising but the fundamentals of an organization as a whole. Continuing to gain new and valuable knowledge, Catherine is excited to start the next step of her career at the IWK Foundation in Halifax.Some of Catherine's other top skills are her communication and interpersonal skills.
