As an education leader and consultant with over 20 years of experience, I am passionate about transforming educational practices through innovative coaching, curriculum development, and research-based strategies. I believe that every child deserves the opportunity to succeed, and I am dedicated to empowering educators with the tools and knowledge they need to make that happen.Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of collaborating with a range of stakeholders, including the Texas Education Agency and local school districts, to shape effective educational policies and practices. My experience at Austin Independent School District has allowed me to design engaging instructional lessons that not only address academic needs but also support the social and emotional development of students. I am also honored to have contributed to initiatives like the Texas Reading Initiative and to have received recognition for my leadership in advancing literacy across the state.I thrive in dynamic environments where I can leverage my skills in mentoring, professional development, and grant writing to drive positive change. As a member of various advisory committees, including the Equity Advisory Committee, I am committed to advocating for equitable resource allocation and policy improvements that prioritize the needs of diverse learners. My recent doctoral research focused on technology integration in high school mathematics, reflecting my belief in the power of innovative solutions to enhance learning experiences.I am excited to connect with fellow educators, leaders, and change-makers who share a vision for a more inclusive and effective education system.
