Catherine is a financial executive in the global biopharmaceutical industry with over 20 years of leadership in research and development finance and business development currently responsible for financial leadership of the 4 therapeutic areas of Takeda: Oncology, Neuroscience, Gastro Intestinal, and Rare Diseases.Catherine joined Takeda in 2017 and her current role is Senior Director of Finance, Therapeutic Asset Units, Research and Development with financial and strategic leadership for 4 Therapeutic Asset Portfolios: Oncology, Neuroscience, Gastrointestinal and Rare Disease encompassing all PH I-IV development assets, portfolio development , and external partnerships. Prior to Takeda, she was with EMD Serono from 2013 - 2017 as Head of Controlling US for Global Research and Development with responsibility for early and late stage R&D programs and external collaborations.
