Hello, my name is Catherine Tahon. I am 21 years old and live in Zwijndrecht. Last year I studied Accounting and I successfully passed. I did an internship for almost 5 months at Moore Belgium after that I worked there for 2 months in summer. However after these 7 months of experience I found out that I didn’t want to do this my whole life. So I started thinking about what I do want to do. Reflecting on my interests, I've always been intrigued by the technology behind accounting programs such as Yuki, Silverfin, and Exact Online. That’s when I started thinking about doing a study in programming. My dream was to help make accounting software better and easier to use.I am a busy person, when I was 16 I started working in “de carrefour” and build a good professional relationship with my customers and boss. That’s when my social side started to emerge. I worked there for almost 4 years. But my former boss decided to quit and sell his business to another person. The relationship with the new boss didn’t go quite well. I believe it is important to listen to each other and understand each other so I quit that job and looked for another opportunity. Now I work at “de albert heijn” where I'm actively building new customer relationships.When I am not working or studying I like to watch nature and play with animals. It gives me a very good feeling. I've provided a glimpse into who I am, and I look forward to the opportunity to further connect.
