UX lead for two internal tools, as part of an embedded design team at a Fortune 500 client

UX lead & hiring manager, Google Home app, Sharing UX (2022–) and Settings UX (2019–)Led UX & shaped product strategy for the new settings tab & redesign (2023 and 2020), including new guidelines for 10 vertical teams. This scaled settings from single, long, scrolling screens to a scalable information architecture and consolidated four different entry points to a unified tab. Hired and mentored an intern and contractor (both converted to full-time). Also led UX for Home app’s first ever early-access program (Public Preview). Re-initiated the sharing UX project, winning support through product strategy rationales, and research-validated UX. Currently establishing the sharing framework & guidelines across 6 surfaces & 20 verticals.- 2023 launch: Settings UX for Home app redesign- 2022 launch: Public Preview program- 2020 launch: Information architecture redesign for settingsUX lead, Google Home app, Device setup (Mar 2018 - 2020) I scaled device setup from three custom-built flows to a modular framework (included steering the PRD, research, and writing).
