Someone once told me, “Find where your passions and the world’s needs meet. Then you will have found your calling.” I never expected the cashier at Old Navy to give me so much insight! In reality, though, I wish I could go back and thank the person for telling me this, and express to them how impactful this piece of advice has been on my life. I am fortunate enough to have many opportunities to discover my passions, and what has been unwavering is my drive to help people in need. I can confidently say that my calling is working with non-profit organizations, specifically those that help children and families. Additionally, I believe that intersectionality plays a huge role in each individual’s unique life experiences, and I am committed to the empathy it takes to make every person feel heard, accepted, and valued.I love discussing the experiences I've had and I'm always open to new ones, so please reach out if you'd like to know more about how life brought me to where I am today!
