Cat serves as a relationship manager between EF Education First and its university partners, helping faculty and administrators set up study abroad programming. Cat is particularly passionate about building partnerships that help expand study abroad access for historically underrepresented communities. She graduated with a degree in Globalization & Development Studies from Vanderbilt University, where she also worked in their Global Education Office for several years. Cat went on to spend the next decade of her career working in international development and refugee resettlement and has lived in and traveled to just over 50 countries across all 7 continents. These experiences took her to dozens of developing countries around the world - from working on compostable toilets in rural Philippines to organic quinoa farms in Peru - and she now has a keen interest in helping people travel to off-the-beaten path locations. Immediately prior to working with EF, Cat was working on partnerships between nonprofits, the UN's International Organization for Migration, and major airline conglomerates to transport tens of thousands of displaced refugees and asylum-seekers to safe homes. In her role at EF, she loves being a part of instilling global citizenship in students to transform the next generation of culturally-aware leaders.
