I believe the personal is political and the ecological is social.I advocate for justice for both people and our planet.I'm naturally curious about the human experience and its interaction with nature. This curiosity shaped my journey from months of fieldwork in the Congo Basin forests to a visiting PhD research scholarship at Columbia University, New York; understanding and publishing thought-provoking perspectives on how international climate and environmental policies such as the EU Green Deal impact the day-to-day lives of the Congolese people.As a postdoctoral fellow at the Institute of Development Policy, I loved to engage with and challenge my master's students. Teaching classes on transformative research methodologies, inspiring students to re-imagine how we do science, making it more just and inclusive to women and marginalized communities. These days I’m proud to work as a Policy Advisor for International Climate Negotiations & Cooperation at the Belgian Federal Government.
