Karin began to study dance when she was 8 years old, and kept learning different styles until found Yoga when she was twenty one.Also did Fine Arts at UFRGS in Porto Alegre, until 1987, when she left to devote herself to practice and study Yoga. At the same time she was working with Fashion and Textile Arts.In 1988 she did her first teacher training yoga course. Then in 89, started to teach in Brazil.Went to India for the first time in 2001, where she learnt Ashtanga Yoga receiving private lessons from Saraswati Rangaswamy, Patthabi Jois’s daughter. Back to Brazil, started to teach Ashtanga at her own Yoga studio. Went back to India in 2003, 2006, 2007 and 2008, when she spend 3 months a year to continued learning from guruji and his grandson Sharat as well as the Yoga Sutra, chanting and sanskrit with Laksmisha Bhat.She has been also studied with Desikachar family in retreats in Brazil:* The Influence of Yoga in our Daily Action (2002) 42 hours* Meditation and spiritual transformation (2004) 32 hours* Yoga Practice Philosophy with TKV Desikachar and his family (2006) 32 hoursFrom 2003 until 2008, she gave teacher trainings and workshops in several cities in Brazil and founded Mangalam Yogashala, a Yoga studio with her husband, Mauricio Wolff.Currently living in Amsterdam where she dedicate herself to the Ashtanga Yoga practice, as well as teaching yoga at the Booking Company for Partners Program and also as Ashtanga Yoga teacher at YogaFest Studio.
