Directed all production operations and scheduling, financial operations, purchasing, property and facilities management, computer/office administration, human resources and benefits, and business insurance.Supervised complete remodel of 12,000 sq. ft., commercial, food manufacturing facility. Developed and published Business Maps 1992. A comprehensive chart and a workbook to enable business owners and executives to assess where they stand in the development process of building their business.Designed customized business solutions and processes for coaching and consulting with a diverse mix of clients in many different industries. These included manufacturing, book publishing, software development, picture framing, fine arts, psychology, video production and building construction.Implemented professional managment disciplines and financial solutions including resolving issues with human resources, office and computer software systems resolutions.

Developed and taught curriculum preparing over 100 foreign graduate students for life in the United States during their international MBA program.

International event planning and program implementation for 40+ leading Japanese graphic designers to learn the latest graphic design software in UCLA's computer laboratory.Arranged simultaneous translation courses along with field visits to leading design firms and technology companies. These included Apple Computer, Pixar and Chiat/Day, in Los Angeles and San Francisco.This highly profitable and unique, visual arts training program was UCLA Extension's most successful program for the year.

Prepared personal/corporate tax returns and financial reports for manufacturing, retail, service, C Corp ans S Corp clients and businesses.

Developed new divisional financial analysis reports utilizing Lotus, Symphony, Printgraph, and Focus. Interfaced with product line managers for report development requirements.Prepared and coordinated divisional business measure charts for monthly operations review with group management, including head count analysis and job costing.

Supervised accounting/finance staff of 9 for this international travel-tour wholesaler with $80M in sales.Responsible for the timely payment of all international payables and tour guide payrolls for 1000+ annual international tours. This included currency hedging and purchase of foreign exchange.Implemented financial controls and consolidations for five related wholesale international travel companies. The company was the travel provider for contracts with American Express and AARP.

Managed staff of 4, responsible for all accounting/finance functions including A/R, cash management and collections through year-end audit. Set up budgeting and operational controls for this $40M cosmetic manufacturing company. Implemented successful hardware and software conversion.

Hired, trained and managed 7 accounting supervisors in 6 U.S. cities for the $60M fried chicken fast food company with 150 locations.Supervised 6 accounting/finance staff responsible for all corporate accounting functions including A/P, A/R, General Ledger, banking, computer operations and programming, employee benefits and payroll.Designed, developed and implemented computer conversion from an IBM 360/70 to a Microdata Reality minicomputer for company wide accounting system.

Hired, trained and supervised 7 accounting clerks for this $500M international hospitality company. Updated computerized input forms and procedures; developed a monthly work flow calendar.Coordinated accounting input from 66 branch locations to produce monthly P&L statements.
