My interest in sports, passion for exercise and eagerness for helping people has ignited a desire to study and work in the field of Sports Physiotherapy. My current studies include a Bachelor of Exercise Science with the intention of completing a Master of Physiotherapy as a progression from my undergraduate degree. The skills and experience obtained previously when working as a Procurement Officer are invaluable and will compliment the outcomes of my studies when moving into a professional environment. These skills include:Customer Relations: In my previous role as a Procurement Officer I was dealing with a diverse range of nationalaties from different parts of the world each and every day. Such communications assisted with the development of my outstanding interpersonal skills and in turn strong problem solving abilities.Leadership / Management:I have previously been exposed to the responsibilities of leadership and management through a number of pathways including but not limited to; staff rostering, management of staff when on shift including tool box talks, preparation and running of staff training, conference and meeting preparation and execution, taking on extra responsibilites and leading by example.Secretarial / Commercial: I have developed exceptional phone and digital communication skills as well as acurate document preparation and proofreading abilities. These skills and abilities have transferred to my proficiency in management of financial functions and transactions in relation to supplier contracting and customer accounts when working in the role of a Procurement Officer.
