I support clients the return and maintenance of a meaningful life in the community. I specialize in recovery interventions with clients with severe enduring mental illness complex needs including schizophrenia and other psychotic disorders, bipolar and other depressive disorders, anxiety disorders, neurodevelopmental disorders, dual diagnosis and neurophysiological disordersI complete assessment of functional ability and barriers to participate in self, productive and leisure activities. I deliver interventions and develop collaborative strategies to improve function and to assist clients to overcome practical challenges including independent life skills, home maintenance, self-care, and leisure and health/fitness goals.I am the educator lead for OT Student Placement for Rehabilitation High Support Directorate and work in partnership with community services i.e. Lifeline Project; Stockport County Community Football Club Foundation; Stockport Progress and Recovery Centre; Health Stockport Council and Salford University.
