As an instructional designer, I enjoy integrating new technology and helping users apply it in their physical and virtual classes. I am quite comfortable integrating new software; I have designed, developed, and managed multiple elearning courses for known entities such as Learning.net, Duke University, Kawasaki, and Xerox Corporation. To create training and educational programs, I engage with subject matter experts to learn about the latest advances and then figure out ways to present the content in an engaging and enjoyable way. With organizational leadership support, I develop online programs focused on skill development. Together, we define learning modules through dynamic, interactive, and user-friendly multimedia solutions that address all necessary training needs. The high-quality materials that I create are designed to be accessible and to measure progress to ensure success. My training and program design are based on:--Instructional design best practices--Educational innovations--Engaging participants in online learning--The neuroscience of learning--Using storytelling to promote learningI am particularly proud of:--Enabling employees to complete their required training remotely by designing and developing online training programs including interactive activities, quizzes, final assessments, and evaluations.--Expediting access to directions and enabling users to employ the software to its fullest capacity by writing the documentation and job aids for clients and employees on the content management system. --Transitioning the Duke University Integrative Medicine Health Coach Professional training program to an online format.Specialties: Virtual Classrooms, Online Format, Digital Learning, Learning Technology, Online Training, Virtual Textbooks, Online Instruction, Teaching
