I have the awesome responsibility of managing the HR function for a great company, headquartered in Canton Michigan. I am also on the senior management team comprised of wonderful team members all of whom are focused on our customers, employees and success of the business.

I currently work with an amazing group of HR professionals at Sensei Change. We facilitate the Michigan Shifting Gears, a program produced in partnership with the Michigan Economic Development Corporation to empower corporate professionals to transition into careers in small business. This is a life changing program for executives and corporate professionals who find themselves having to go through a job transition. This is a 4 month program and has had great success statewide.

I am currently on contract with Fifth Third Bank to provide executive recruitment services to several lines of business and to support the bank's diversity and inclusion vision. Additionally, I worked with Senior HR Leaders on several engagement and retention projects. I am delighted to work with very talented people who are driven to succeed as a team daily. Vice President, Staffing / Diversity Recruitment Manager 2005 – 2007Responsible for managing the recruiting of internal and external positions for several divisions within the Business Bank; including Commercial Credit and International business units.  Created, trained staff and led implementation of the National Diversity Recruitment initiative that resulted in increased diversity candidate selection and gave national recognition as a diversity champion.  Developed a tool to track interview pools and selection rate of candidates, by region, that helped recruiters focus on hiring needs and gain management partnership.  Interviewed internal and external candidates at officer level, including vice president, for leadership roles and made selection recommendations to senior management.  Managed relationships and negotiated fees of staffing agencies and executive search firm vendors that resulted in favorable agreements for the bank.
