I am a self-motivated scientist/human looking for a new challenge. Originally a geologist, I obtained my Ph.D. at the nexus of earth science and materials engineering at the University of Pennsylvania before moving to the UK for two years to work on the research staff at the University of Oxford. After a brief stint teaching at the undergraduate level in the University of California system, I moved home to Ohio to run the R&D department of a refractory metals manufacturer.I have a unique skill set and background, which I leverage to tackle new and emerging problems.
