I dedicated a decade of my life to serving in the military, beginning my journey as a Navy Corpsman before advancing to a surgical technician role. Along the way, I acquired a diverse array of skills, each sharpening my capability and adaptability. Leadership opportunities were frequent; I spearheaded initiatives for groups ranging from just a few individuals to over 75 team members. My guiding principle was straightforward but impactful: to strive relentlessly for the well-being and success of everyone under my wing.I firmly believe that holding a leadership title is less significant than being an effective team member. Regardless of the team's composition or the myriad backgrounds of its members, we found strength in our unity, working cohesively towards our common goals.My commitment to personal and professional growth has been unwavering throughout the years. I've proactively sought the mentorship of subject matter experts, absorbing every ounce of knowledge and wisdom they offered. This thirst for learning is driven by a simple, personal philosophy: to outperform my yesterday.
