Job Description• Registers patients for section’s procedures and systematically schedule them to avoid overlapping or delay in the procedure without sacrificing image quality through proper coordination with patient nursing units and other referring hospitals• Ask patient’s complain, and why the doctor asked him/her for an ultrasound• Inquire history of any previous medication and/or surgery• Input all ultrasound patients in the daily log sheet for hospital records and other purposes• Perform detailed sonographic evaluations of the abdomen, pelvis and areas of concern for both pediatric and adult patient• Evaluate organs specific to protocol, including related anatomy as necessary• Ensure safe, clean, and order of the section for patent’s and associate’s comfort by checking all areas prior to the procedure• On call procedures• Bedside Ultrasound procedures• Maintains and adheres strict confidentiality of all records/documents and patients information purposes• Capture / store images of the organs examined and send images to PACS system and RIS for Radiologist Interpretation with an average of 20 patients /day Cases Handled• Upper abdomen-PEDIA&ADULT• Pelvic organs-PEDIA&ADULT• Trans rectal Ultrasound-ADULT• Neck/Thyroid Gland-PEDIA&ADULT• Classification of Chest densities (Pleural Effusion)-PEDIA&ADULT• Trans cranial Sonography for infants up to 18 months old (assisting role)-PEDIA• Soft tissue or small parts sonography like superficial tumors or nodules on skin, abdominal wall, etc.-PEDIA&ADULT• Scrotal/Inguinal Ultrasound-plain-PEDIA&ADULT• Musculoskeletal Ultrasound (assisting role)Doppler Sonography Liver with Doppler (assisting role) Kidney with Doppler (assisting role) Testicle with Doppler-PEDIA&ADULTUltrasound Guided Biopsies Kidney, Thyroid, Prostate, Liver Ultrasound Guided- Thoracenthesis and Paracenthesis (assisting role)MACHINES OPERATED• Toshiba Aplio 300• Siemens ACUSON S2000• Zonare
