For Huawei, I recruited at VP and Project Director level to provide turn-key 3G services to operators across APAC, Middle East and Africa. For Alcatel-Lucent I looked after UK +I and Benelux portfolio to provide niche technical skills for key telecoms IP transformation and technical outsourcing programs.

I set up Lilac Bay to provide on-site employee health and well-being services to the corporate sector. Services provided included on-site massage, stress management advice, personal fitness and nutrition sessions and corporate well-being days.Clients included ING Direct bank, BMI Healthcare, and Intercontinental Hotel Group.

I set up Intelli-gen to provide teams of interim engineering expertise to 2, 2.5 & 3G operators and equipment vendors rolling out networks across Europe and Asia. Clients included Orange International, Nortel, Motorola, Hutchison Whampoa, Dolphin Telecom, and T-System. This enterprise rapidly grew to generate a turnover of £4.5million in its second year of trading yielding net profits of £0.5million.

I was retained by the CTO to set up and coordinate a fully centralised recruitment function to handle all contract, temporary and consulting staff during pre-launch network deployment phase. This involved liaising with and co-ordinating a wide range of international human capital providers, from recruitment agencies through to management consultancies to ensure that as a new 3G operator, Hi3G had access to the best expertise available both nationally and internationally.
