As a person who has always been passionate about writing and fascinated by the book industry, I am excited to begin a career in professional writing and service work. I am a senior English major at The University of Massachusetts Lowell with a concentration on Professional Writing and Journalism and minors in French and Gender Studies. I have enjoyed completing experiences in writing so far academically and professionally. I have worked with the award-winning travel writing website We Said Go Travel to edit and publish articles. I have also worked as a writing tutor for teens and young adults looking to improve their academic writing skills as well as I have also completed an internship with YWCA Lowell, an organization focused on eliminating racism, empowering women, and supporting the local community. The internship involved teaching children 9-13 English reading and writing skills.
