My current editing project is fascinating and brimming with history that has not been told. Before I left England, the author took me on a tour of Norwich where this history was created. The memory of those images, sounds, and the feeling of ages, comes back and enhances my editing. I walked along cobblestone streets in the rain, peering down alleys that lead to yards where, two hundred years ago, families huddled in poverty and disease with only a bit of hope. I sat on ancient cathedrals pews where generations of Christians worshipped. I spoke in one of the oldest halls where men argued religion and their deadly prejudice was displayed. I touched the medieval remnants of the wall surrounding Norwich.
