Senior Finance Business Partner
Leading the North region's Finance Business Partnership service with an operating contribution of £7m per annum and repeat project investment of £20m per annum.Shaping the strategic and financial plans with the Regional Leadership Team. Business areas include mansion visitor attractions, retail, outdoors, catering and accommodation. Responsible for embedding the new finance model in the region including operational understanding, accurate operational & project forecast transfer, and detailed budget submission.Project board member for investments greater than £1m, bringing critical challenge to influence the board as appropriate.Cathryn also provided financial and commercial expertise to the Renewable Energy Investment Programme which will generate 50 per cent of our energy from renewable sources and halve our fossil fuel consumption by 2020. Associate Director - Strategic Risk Assessment
On joining the Risk team in September 2008 on secondment from KPMG Cathryn has managed and lead teams in the Debt Finance and Sales Finance Specialist Risk Units. She managed a team assessing covenants on specialist funding structures including Asset Backed Lending and Leveraged Finance.Cathryn’s role was to identify potential impairment earlier, recommend appropriate corrective action and engage with the key stakeholders (relationship managers, credit, business support and fraud control unit). The team embedded a system (RiskFactor) throughout the organisation which became integral to the relationship managers. Cathryn specifically delivered this to the large and commercial businesses.
