Importantly, she ensures the “wine language” is unpretentiously enjoyable and approachable to the novice and discerning palate. Catherine founded the 1st WSET® APP wine institute in Myanmar offering the eminent Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET®) UK certified course under WINEducator Myanmar. Her strong belief in education is reflected in the customised F&B beverage up-selling service trainings and sommelier masterclass programs which serves to elevate the industry. Her wealth of exposure includes; 5 years as Dpy Commercial Director (QdM APac) Concha y Toro and 3 years with Invivo Wine Group for SEAsia. She was also an instrumental partner in a successful Singapore wine import/distribution company with 4 wine restaurants during her helm of 10 years.Catherine is a WSET® Certified Educator with Diploma (Level 4) in Wines & Spirits, WSET® UK and a Certified Specialist in Wines from the Society of Wine Educators, USA. As a Certified Adult Educator & Assessor, her workshops are andragogically interactive and conducts fluently in both English and Mandarin.
