In my role as a Senior Officer for Gender, I've been instrumental in driving organizational transformation and fostering sustainable change. Through extensive training and hands-on experience since 2014, I led the implementation of a comprehensive gender mainstreaming process within our organization. This involved guiding project teams, establishing gender-sensitive monitoring systems, and ensuring compliance across various projects and partner organizations. I secured funding to support 18 partners in their gender mainstreaming efforts, providing technical expertise and implementing strategies to promote gender equality. Moreover, recognizing the exclusion of youth from decision-making processes, I led an initiative to integrate youth voices, using OECD guidelines. My proactive approach and expertise have contributed significantly to fostering inclusive practices, empowering women, promoting gender equality, and advocating for youth inclusion across diverse projects and initiatives.

As the Coordinator, I established and managed the Center for Research, Training, and Publications, overseeing intervention and capacity-building projects, research publications, and certificate courses. This encompassed organizing monthly public forums and biannual international conferences. My role extended to fundraising, monitoring project implementation, and maintaining donor relationships, ensuring timely reporting and adherence to budgetary guidelines.My expertise includes project monitoring and evaluation, coordination, and management, bridging administrative work and implementation. I successfully coordinated multiple capacity-building projects yearly, addressing diverse issues like food security, Livelihood alternatives to at risk youth, extractive industries, religious extremism, women's economic empowerment, governance, citizen participation, and election conflict management.Additionally, I led research initiatives on various topics across regional contexts, organizing conferences, workshops, and training sessions on leadership, conflict resolution, and policy implementation. Coordinating staff recruitment and consultant facilitation for short-term projects was also part of my responsibilities, involving negotiation and adherence to terms of reference.Throughout, I navigated collaborations with external organizations, ensuring compliance and successful outcomes, emphasizing effective project auditing and monitoring.

As a Program Assistant at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, my role was pivotal in policy analysis and coordination of technical assistance provided to East African countries. I facilitated training sessions for local and international staff from diverse governments and played a key role in collecting and analyzing data for curriculum development. Additionally, I coordinated and executed regional diplomacy training programs, ensuring their successful implementation. A significant aspect of my responsibilities involved preparing detailed reports on in-house trainings and workshops, fostering effective communication and collaboration between internal and external agencies for streamlined development assistance. Moreover, my experience expanded and I contributed significantly as an analyst focusing on the South Sudan Conflict and identifying opportunities for Kenya within the East African region. At the Foreign Service Institute (FSI), I coordinated projects and organized diplomatic training programs for South Sudanese Ambassadors, Kenya's Honorary Consuls, and diplomats from Rwanda and Burundi. Additionally, I orchestrated workshops involving diplomats from inter-governmental organizations (IGOs) in collaboration with partner organizations, where I also facilitated certain sessions.

In my role as a Program Assistant at Family Health International, I played a pivotal role in advancing Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) initiatives.
