Ministry of God's Word to a congregation in a small town in Wyoming. This includes preparing sermons, visitation of homebound, sick, infirm, and dying;. I have worked with the Big Horn County jail/prison for twenty years focusing on primarily the female population. Until COVID 19 I met with the incarcerated ladies weekly. COVID shut down this ministry for the time being as it did the three nursing homes where I minister : WRC, BBJ and the Powell Valley Nursing Home. I write for the local newspapers: The Basin Republican Rustler and the Greybull Standard rotating with local pastors to provide ministry to the community in need of spiritual encouragement and uplift. I often substitute in Sunday School ministry from adults to the littlest of congregants. In addition I prepare the bulletins and provide the musical accompaniment for the congregation as they sing praise to the Lord. Baptisms, weddings and funerals are part and parcel of a pastor's responsibilities along with working with pastors of all denominational backgrounds. With COVID 19 pastoral duties have been expanded to meeting the needs of people beyond our local community as we have held ZOOM services -- Bible Study, Prayer meetings, Sunday School and Worship over the internet. We have attendees from as far north as Canada and southernmost Texas. We have embraced this expansion of God's ministry through our church and even as we have begun to meet locally in the sanctuary for worship, we have included our brothers and sisters via internet zoom meetings with its incumbant challenges.
