After a lifetime of working for others in numerous capacities, I have come to realize that very few organizations are truly progressive, embracing the latest wisdoms of creating organizational learning. I also realize that much of this has to do with the complex society we live in. Complex problems come from complex societies and are impossible to overcome on an individual basis, let alone at organizational levels. Dealing with complexity requires a different way of thinking than we are used to.My work is creating a forum for raising the general collective consciousness by shining light on the complexity of our times and new ways of looking at life to offset fear, loss of hope, and a reliance on coping mechanisms instead of facing issues. Started in 2010 with my first internet radio show, I have had the pleasure of participating in thoughtful, scholarly dialogue with intelligent, creative, socially conscious, caring, and well educated individuals regarding their particular specialties. This radio show is a continually growing collection of cutting-edge, academic knowledge as well as thoughtful treatises on many social issues. The Communication Coalition continues to grow through my Blogtalkradio internet radio show, adding more depth and breadth to this goal of sharing knowledge on a mass level for free. Almost every one of my guests on the show has their masters or doctorate degree, sharing their deeper learning and understanding of their particular areas of expertise in the hope of helping raise society's knowledge base for those who are interested.
