•Responsible for leading a cross functional team to design, develop and implement products and a process that will improve the data quality for a new dataset -- that is one of the largest, most complex, and complicated datasets ever, the Transformed Medicaid Statistical Information System (T-MSIS). •Responsible for the review and analysis of TMSIS data •Develop products and a processes that would provide quantifiable results. •Developed the approach, vision and roadmap. Then, I presented it to many different audiences (i.e. CMCS Leadership, State Agencies, Contractors, Staff, GAO/OIG) to obtain their buy-in.•Responsible for leading and working with internal staff, other gov’t agencies, contractors, vendors and state agencies. Within each of these groups their skillsets ranged from business owners to highly technical and their rank varied from senior leadership to worker. •Serve as a change agent in helping the CMS staff to utilize the new Medicaid data in performing their jobs for efficiently and effectively•Serve as a liaison and negotiator to the State Agencies •Primary lead for all Stakeholders (internal and external) to determine their data needs and how our group could fulfill their needs.•Provide guidance, leadership, direction and briefings to CMS leadership to ensure that proper implementation of the legislation and program policies are being followed.•Serve as primary point of contact for audits and various compliance reviews by OIG, GAO.•Work with contractors to utilize open source code and user-centered product design for extracting data from the Medicaid and CHIP dataset. •Utilize the Agile methodology for the Federal build of the TMSIS dataset in an effort to respond to changes quickly and easily •Manager of Data Quality staff for the Transformed Medicaid State Information Systems that is responsible for internal and external data / reports. •Provide direction and oversight of multiple contractors
