National Sales ManagerPadinox Inc. Sep 2006 - PresentHalifax, N.S.As National Sales manager for Padinox Inc, I manage the Paderno sales agents across Canada who sell Paderno products to independent housewares businesses. I am responsible for the National accounts in Canada, whose head offices are mainly located in Toronto. With over 2000 skus of inventory, I partner with the decision makers of National accounts to secure Paderno products in their planograms each year. An important aspect of our business is trade shows. I coordinate the National trade shows and their execution. With a challenging global economy, I must continue to be innovative so Paderno can remain competitive in a changing environment. Very exciting news was communicated on May 10th of this year, 2017: Canadian Tire Corporation, Limited (TSX:CTC, TSX:CTC.A) (“CTC”) announced today that it has entered into an agreement to acquire Padinox Inc., the company which owns the Canadian rights to the Paderno brand. Paderno is a well-known kitchenware brand with strong roots in Canada and holds a reputation for excellence in craftsmanship and quality. This brand, coupled with Canadian Tire’s strength in product development and marketing, will play a central role in Canadian Tire’s new cooking innovations and expanded Kitchen assortment. As part of the transaction, the manufacturing and wholesale distribution operations of Padinox Inc., based in PEI, are being sold to Meyer Canada. Meyer is the largest distributor of cookware and related kitchen products in North America, and the second largest cookware manufacturer globally. Paderno, best known for producing industry leading cookware, these assets will provide Meyer with Canadian manufacturing capability, which complements its global cookware operations and allows it to better service the entire North American market. “

We were responsible for the business performance of the Atlantic region. I managed the educational and developmental needs of the Pfizer territory managers. With completion of a competency model, the district managers, myself and the territory managers identified a plan of action that would enhance the professional development of the representatives. On a quarterly basis, we revisited their plan of action and made revisions if needed.I rolled out the Pfizer Nationally accredited educational programs to the managers and representatives so they could sell their value to their customers. Senior Training Manager For CardiovascularPfizer Canada Inc. Jun 2004 - Jun 2005For one year, I worked at Pfizer head office in Montreal as Senior Training Manager for the cardiovascular division. I was managing the 3 training managers for the 4 Pfizer CV brands. Partnering with the CV marketing and sales teams for each of the 4 brands, we developed training programs for the quarterly National sales meetings for the district managers in the field to incorporate in their regional sales meetings. We also worked with these same teams to organize a 4 day launch of a new CV drug. We updated the learning modules for 3 of the brands and developed one for the new CV drug. These modules were used in the field for continuing education and to train new field reps. I worked with another Senior training manager to develop 4 different competency models used to enhance the professional development of the territory reps selling the full complement of Pfizer brands. This project involved collecting behaviourial data from the field representatives, interviewing the management levels in the field and head office and compiling this information resulting in 4 competency models. We organized a full day launch of the models to the sales management team in head office and then to the district management team in the field. The full day launch of the 4 competency models introduced all the learning tools needed to launch these models in the field. We partnered with graphic designers, IT consultants and production companies, using the budget allocated for this project, to develop the tools needed for using the competency models. I worked with the learning and development management team on several projects including the development of a new sales process. This position allowed me to solidify skills in the area of project management and people management, working with consultants outside Pfizer and across all levels within Pfizer.
