My duties included identifying potential conflicts of interest between potential clients and/or cases and existing client and/or cases. In addition to this, I was responsible for clearing conflicts on Lateral Paralegals and Associates. I was also responsible for Opening and Closing all matters, assigning client/matter numbers to all cases for the firm and handling assigning employee ID numbers as well. I monitored and made changes to origination credits, I handeled attorney originations when opening matters and setting up rates for the attorneys on all matters opened. I handeled terminations in the system, handeled printing of the Conflicts book for potential new hires and handeled all emergency searches sent to Conflicts.
