In collaboration with Costco Canada, I devised and implemented a 3-phase strategy to provide central data management to meet corporate objectives of data compliance, consistency and analysis of their Canadian pharmacy locations utilizing NDCHealth's management software.Phase I Data Extraction and Cleansing - Designed and implemented processes to map and import pricing and drug information from each pharmacy into an Informix DBMS. Wrote SQL scripts and stored procedures to standardize incoming data. Created and executed scripts to extract and provide exception reports back to pharmacy for review and correction.Phase II Implementation: Implemented a framework and process to initially synchronize store data with the central database once data cleansing complete.Phase III Ongoing Maintenance: Created and managed import scripts to handle data synchronization between different pharmacy software versions. Managed and executed weekly data extraction reports from pharmacy locations. Analysed and prepared sales and inventory reports for Costco management team. Trained Costco IT team on technology and processes.

Redesigned the relational database and improved data integrity, turning around a failing software extension into a value-added product adopted by chain pharmacies in Canada and the US. Directed a 6-person team in the ongoing development, support and maintenance of software after rollout.
