Leads a team of 70 information technology professionals overseeing communications support to large and diverse Special Operations organization and associated support staff across the Pacific theater of operations. Provides Director and associated senior staff real-time situational status of network and telecommunications operations spanning thirty-six countries while affirming support of five mutual defense treaties. Directly responsible for all cyber, telecommunications and associated support functions for 15 Pacific Augmentation Teams and Special Operations Liaison Offices supporting four task forces. Directs development, operation and maintenance of $5M tactical gateway infrastructure, providing secure global communications. Monitors operations and directs training for specialized 32-person, quick response detachment capable of providing full spectrum cyber capabilities during national crisis.

Responsible for direction and operation of information technology service management support systems in the Pacific theater of operations. Efforts support 220 senior staff and special agents. Through leadership and oversight of support staff, plans and coordinates current and future cyber, communications, and information technology resource requirements and develops technical solutions compliant with CIO expectations. Leads inventory of all sensitive information technology assets valued in excess of $3.5M. Manages regional operation of the Enterprise Help Desk network and is responsible for all Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility operations.

Managed staff communications programs for 130 personnel. Established and provided administrative policies and procedures. Managed performance appraisals, awards recognition, and Privacy Act and Records Management programs. Processed civilian timecards and executive travels. Assisted users of common software applications and performed configuration management and system diagnostics. Diagnosed and corrected computer hardware and software, configured desktop and laptop for network connectivity, loaded software, and performed preventive maintenance. Managed updates and repairs of local area network systems and determined refresh or upgrades on hard drives, video, and sound cards.
