I'm most proud of the time I spent at an advertising agency and on the corporate side creating an in-house creative services team. Juggling a full-time career and motherhood is no joke and luckily, I had a lot of support along the way. So after a covid-related layoff, I had to figure out my next step and discovered that small companies rely on 1099 contractors to regularly lean into resources when needed. Knowing that I wanted to create flexibility for my life and my family, Bleu Henry was born. Bleu Henry Lane was created in honor of my mom, Sue Fogel, who lost her battle with breast cancer in 2018. She was my rock and helped support my family as I built a career in marketing. My parent’s lake house on Henry Lane served as the backdrop to countless family celebrations and beautiful memories. Today we still cherish our time together, but admittedly, we feel a little blue without our “Nanny” there.
