Our prevention efforts are to develop tools and resources to educate and empower parents and youth from SPA 7 communities. The mission is to actively engage the public in addressing alcohol use, marijuana use, methamphetamine use, and prescription drug misuse and abuse to develop tools and resources to educate and empower the community of the Los Angeles County Service Planning Area (SPA) 7. Through in-person interactive workshops and activities, facilitated by professional prevention specialists, youth leaders, and peers, we educate on the negative health impacts of early alcohol and other drug misuse and abuse. The vision is to create leaders in empowering youth and adults to live and advocate for healthy and substance-free lifestyles for themselves and their communities.
