Sport and fitness have played a major role in my life. I have always been sporty and active, competing in soccer, gaelic football, athletics, and basketball. My experience of being active has helped me learn the trade and motivate those who looking for a more active lifestyle. My passion is to promote physical activity and instill habits of life long participation in exercise. My experience and qualifications to date have helped me treat, progress and adapt to the personal and individual needs of clients, children and basketball players.In order to help clients be successful I have had to develop skills and adapt to programs/food plans to personal likes and abilities. Understanding motivations and barriers of my clients has allowed me to build a good relationship with those I work with. Reflection plays an important learning tool for new clients as every person is different with different needs, wants and abilities.Nutrition plays a massive role in achieving results and as such I completed the level 1 Precision Nutrition course. I am confident in my plans, advice and ability to research credible sources. My success rate with clients has improved as a result and I enjoy working with clients to achieve a full and sustainable lifestyle change.Learning is a continuous endeavour and in my spare time I love to read books, articles and complete courses to expand my repertoire.
