Provide materials, services, or community connections needed to help those that are grieving or struggling with various issues. The goal is to gain a realistic idea of how to handle and work through those issues, gain a foothold, and increase their internal motivation to progress and make needed changes to enjoy their life again.

Recruiting, coordinating, training and managing over 3,000 volunteers for 6 Boys & Girls Clubs, Center of Hope and the events of Area Command (Golf Tournament, Amazing Race, Tulsa Run, all 14 Christmas events, Fan Day, etc.). Networking to provide up to date programming, partnerships, education and donations for our sites while creatively juggling disaster services, volunteers and resources with very little notice.

Created programming, problem solving, and advocacy within context of budget restraints. Networked and enlisted team work with city departments, various community organizations, politicians, faith groups, and volunteers to create an environment where neighborhood concerns were identified and resolved. Identified, developed, and empowered neighborhood leaders to take ownership of area, make it a safe, fun place to reside and enhance property values. Facilitated citizens in city planning (PlaniTulsa), neighborhood revitalization of blighted areas, revitalized existing and established new neighborhood associations. Taught, planned and coordinated block parties, tree plantings, clean ups days, and events in the neighborhood and city. Created program for aiding seniors and disabled (CARE) to mobilize citizen volunteer help for seniors. Created WIN University for citizen education of city departments and nonprofit organizations. Marketing, event planning, budgeting, volunteer enlistment and retention, and conflict resolution were an integral part of being successful. Creativity and the ability to see the large picture, set goals, solve problems and awareness of liability and detail were also vital components of success.
