Commencing professional life as a secondary school teacher, I have also worked in the publishing industry for 15 years. I then returned to Catholic Education and after a period at the Catholic Education Office, Melbourne worked for ten years as Deputy Principal at Genazzano FCJ College in Melbourne. In 2016 I accepted a position with the Archdiocese of Melbourne as the Director of the Archbishop's Office for Evangelisation. As part of my work with the Archdiocese I coordinated the process toward the Plenary Council and was, subsequently, a member of one of the writing teams. I was privileged to attend the Australian Plenary Assembly as a member. My role in Melbourne included working in adult faith education and the development of resources to assist with adult faith formation. I am an accomplished presenter.After working with Catholic Education Sandhurst as Assistant to the Director: Leadership Development, I commenced work at Mercy Health as Executive Director Mission Leadership and lead a team who are committed to the mission of Catholic health in Australia. Board experience includes: Mercy Education (MEL) from January 2018 to December 2021; Deputy Chair, Sandhurst Catholic Early Years and Education Board (2021 to present), Deputy Chair, Diocese of Sale Catholic Education Board (2022 to present), member of the Catholic College Sale Board 2023 to present. Board committee experience includes child safety, audit and risk; catholic identity learning and teaching; professional standards. An ongoing learner, I have degrees in Arts (University of Melbourne), Theology (University of Divinity), Graduate Diploma in Education, Masters degree in leadership (ACU). I continue in the study of theology and undertook the AICD course in 2024.
