Taught in a self-contained class in grades K, 1, 3, and 4. Supervised and tutored in school suspension in grades six through eight. Planned and taught units of study for gifted students in grades one through five. Taught reading enrichment for students in grades one and two.Planned and coordinated a science celebration called Discovery Day at Loyd School. Headed the program and maintained contacts for the first twelve years. Particiapants included the Supt. of school system, professors from CSU, Army Engineers and CWOs, Boy Scouts of America, a local paleontologist, GA power and local news media. I produced the school Christmas program at Loyd when we had no music teacher. The gifted children and their parents helped, but there would have been no assembly, had I not asked to do it. I participated in the retirement and transfer celebrations for various personel in the system. I performed stand up and sang parodies based on favorite songs of the honorees.
