Intuitive, passionate, emotionally intelligent, servant leadership... big picture vision with attention to detail and out-of-the-box problem-solving. Common sense approach to all business, financial, and supervisory functions while executing with honesty and transparency. I enjoy building high-performing teams that understand sales/customer service and the soft skills needed to build win-win relationships while driving revenue growth. Strategic and analytical in all areas of market/event production, sponsorship sales, donor cultivation, budget creation, and revenue pursuit. I significantly grew revenue and participation while reducing costs below budgeted amounts in any previously produced events in every nonprofit I was responsible for. As an Executive Director in the nonprofit world, you are responsible for and perform a variety of projects in departments such as marketing, HR, PR, Finance, Operations, Events, Revenue, Volunteers, Community Engagement, IT, Grants, and Board Engagement. As the Executive Director of Susan G. Komen – Miami/Ft. Lauderdale, I was voted by the other Florida Executive Directors to represent them in Tallahassee where I garnered increased funding for breast cancer research and testing during that period. While I operate with a high degree of common sense and real-world operational and critical data analysis thinking, my default revenue mode is to swing for the fences. I enjoy building a team and igniting the passion and belief in a mission, product, person, or goal, that it takes to get each member operating at their highest level and that feeling of teamwork when it all comes together as goals are not only achieved but surpassed, as a team. I enjoy working as an employee; however, I am open to working with your event or sales team as a consultant or contracting in various areas. My experience is not just in the nonprofit area, I worked in the golf industry as a Director of Sales and Marketing, where I created and produced celebrity golf tournaments and all that entails, including all marketing, sponsorships, and on-course items. I handled contracting for all food and beverage plus the catering departments at various golf courses. I was a Real Estate agent for ten years doing residential and commercial real estate sales and rentals.
