I am a creative director and artist. I am founder of Spectroscope an international network of artists that create digital dreamscapes and installations in unexpected locations.I am a Clore Fellow and Fellow of Royal Society of the Arts. I have over 20 years of experience in creating, commissioning and designing public engagement events and exhibitions that connect with communities of people worldwide. I work collaboratively across heritage, community, arts and business sectors and specialise in climate change and bio-diversity programming. My career has spanned Canal and River Trust, Forestry England, Royal Shakespeare Company, Southbank Centre, Art on the Underground, Historic Royal Palaces, British Council and Bristol Beacon. Head Of Programme: Forest To ForestForest Of Dean Sculpture Trust Oct 2020 - Jul 2021Secured the funding and led a Culture Recovery programme and strategic planning project in partnership with Forestry England and Forest of Dean Sculpture Trust. Included initiating and overseeing the re-brand of the charity and re-launch of a new website, including virtual tours of onsite sculptures. Recruited and line managed a team of talented producers and a diverse line up of over ten local, national and international artists. Including the development of a new one-way Forest trail exploring themes of well-being, biodiversity and climate change.

DirectorForest Of Dean Sculpture Trust Nov 2014 - Oct 2020Forest Of DeanSecured the funding and led a three-year strategic landmark sculpture commissioning for a 4.5 mile Forest trail, and established a new young people and community engagement programme 2017-2020. Founded in 1986, the Forest of Dean Sculpture Trail, set within the stunning Wye Valley region was one of the first to open in the UK. The Trail features sculptures created by artists to interpret the Forest environment and the history of this very unusual landscape. It provides a unique opportunity to walk through the woodlands and discover art along the way. The sculptures are commissioned by The Forest of Dean Sculpture Trust, a charitable organisation, working closely with the Forestry Commission.

Commissioned Artist: Bbc Culture In QuarantineBbc Apr 2020 - Jul 2021Bristol, England, United KingdomInternational award winning projection mapping project developed during lockdown in Bristol for BBC Culture in Quarantine and The Space, with production support from Unlimited. Sign Night is inspired by the balcony performers of Wuhan and Lombardy, but using sign language - the vital, visual and versatile language of deaf communities. Collaborating with deaf performers living in self-isolation, I will illuminate the streets of Bristol with mysterious film projections revealing deaf culture in lockdown, allowing hands and bodies to express what can't be spoken by words alone. -
Artistic Director, The RingCanal & River Trust Sep 2016 - Jan 2019Worcestershire & Droitwich, UkWinner of best Art & Culture Event (large-scale) National Living Waterways award, 2019. The Ring celebrates the Worcestershire region’s canals and rivers. The project took place on secret islands, oil docks, pop music stages and on barges along the 21 mile circle of waterways made up by the Worcester & Birmingham Canal, the Droitwich canals and the River Severn. I led the artistic vision and curated the selection of artist/architects: NEON, Katy Beinart, Rich White, Heather Wastie, Dave Crowe, Lucy McLauchlan and Lucy Speed. -

Involving 120 organisations, including 36 businesses from dry cleaning firms to multinationals. Established 3-year Children's Rights Commission supported by Mishcon de Reya. Initiated Bloomsbury Festival in a Box, a research pilot supported by Arts and Humanities Research Council to take Festival events out into the homes of people living with dementia.
