I am a highly experienced and well qualified psychologist and sport psychologist with more than three decades’ clinical experience working with medical professionals, commercial and government organisations and sporting teams and institutes.I was selected for the 1996 Atlanta Olympic Games as Team Psychologist, based in the Olympic village headquarters. I have worked a the South Australian Sports Institute and Wakefield Sports Clinic. I have worked as part of a multi-disciplinary team of sports physicians and physiotherapists to assist a broad range of athletes from elite Olympic level to everyday participants. In my current roles at Michael Craig Consulting and GutPsych, I bring a breadth and depth of experience to my clients whether they be individuals or organisations. My focus is to provide brief therapy interventions which assist clients in meeting their therapeutic goals. I provide interventions, which contribute to enhancing performance in life, sport and health. In my role at GutPsych, I currently liaise with Gastroenterologists and other medical specialists, in order to assist individuals with Functional Gastrointestinal Disorders, to minimise symptoms and maximise quality of life outcomes.
