Looking to transition out of the classroom and into a role where I can learn, thrive and grow.………………..After only a year working at LaSalle I really felt the pull to become an educator. Through the Philadelphia Teacher Residency program, I worked through Drexel to become a middle school teacher in only a year! It was not an ideal time to go into this field, as it was during the pandemic. Long story short, I have to put teaching on the back burner.... but know that I have learned so much through the experience.......Joined La Salle University in February 2019 in Athletic Development. Working with the coaches and teams to help get/stay connected with their alumni to continue to build the connection of these former student-athletes with their alma mater and ultimately encourage them to “give back.”......Elected to School Board in Colonial School District in November of 2015 after finishing a 4 year term as a member of the Whitemarsh Township Board of Supervisors. I stopped working "outside the home" in 2009... and have spent these years raising our daughters of course but also volunteering and doing as much as I could in and for my community. -----I spent over seven seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles handling all aspects of Corporate Sponsor services-- execution of all contractual elements including customer service, event planning, advertising, promotions, gameday experiences, etc.I left the Eagles because I wanted to take the summer off to spend with my 1st daughter and then make the move into the Non-profit world. I wanted to feel like the time I was spending away from her and my husband was actually helping make the community we live in a better place. After a couple of consulting gigs, I had my second daughter and decided to stay at home. As they got older, I became more and more interested and involved in local government. After being a committee person for a year, I was asked to run for a spot on the township's board of supervisors. I was excited to have gotten elected and start my stint in public service.
