Ft Myers Beach Florida

I am responsible for the operational side of the business which includes but is not limited to safety, staffing, productivity and customer service. We run approximately 29 residential routes, 6 rolloff routes and 10 frontload routes daily. I am also responsible for dealing directly with Lee County in respects to any issues involving drivers, routes or customers.

Indianapolis, Indiana Area

I am responsible for the entire Indiana market which includes 4 remote sites and the main HHGregg warehouse. I work with Independent Contractors and we handle all of the deliveries for HHGregg. I am responsible for the budget for the Midwest as well as recruiting, coaching, discipline. I have three managers that report to me to help run the operation at the Indianapolis dock. We have a headcount of approximately 30 teams of drivers and helpers. I handle the settlements for all locations as well as product damage claims and in home damages.

Jacksonville, Florida Area

I am responsible for maintaining and meeting budget. I am currently over frontload and roll off with a total of 35 drivers and 3 dispatchers. My responsibilities include but are not limited to maintaining DOT files, driver follow-ups and observations, meeting with customers on contract or service issues. I also conduct accident investigations and allegations of property damage. I also help train new employees on various duties including company policies and programs. I conduct the weekly safety meetings as well as daily tailgates with the drivers.

Kokomo, Indiana Area

I was running the Kokomo Indiana site which is a Union shop as well as a Transfer Station. I had direct supervision of approximately 30 employees including Route Managers and clerical staff. We currently have a VARR of 20,754 on a goal of 20,000. Duties included, but were not limited to: staying current with OSHA, DOT and CSA regulations. While in Wisconsin I was responsible for a waste management facility with operating revenue over 17 Million; Also, three other facilities and transfer stations in the state of Wisconsin; Duties included, but are not limited to: staying current with OSHA, DOT and CSA regulations;. In addition, responsible for direct supervision of a team of 48 employees. Reduced our safety record by over 600% year over year – year to date we have had 1 accident last year we had 7. Our VARR is 43,849 on a goal of 13,572. We have reduced our operational liabilities as well, cutting them in half we have had 16 year to date and we had 36 the same time last year.

Responsible for all aspects of terminal management, including but not limited to: managing internal equipment and employees, fleet management, loading and unloading, auditing, package tracing, etc. Responsible for and held accountable for all financial and operational phases of the terminal. Interfacing and negotiating with independent contractors. We went over 1700 days injury free.
